WHO WE ARE

The African Young Leaders Foundation (AYLF) is an international, non-profit, and non-governmental organization registered and headquartered in Accra, Ghana with branches across Africa, run by and for esteemed young individuals who have held several leadership positions internationally and with the utmost desire of devoting themselves as agents of change and source of inspiration by pulling their resources and time together to train the next generation of African Leaders through their experiences and global networking.
The AYLF also seeks to engage in humanitarianism by securing scholarships, educational funds and bursaries to the brilliant but needy individuals who wish to further their education and/or training, donations and campaigns to support social impact activities all veered towards giving back to society.
The AYLF impel the impact of a diverse community of responsible leaders across borders and sectors to shape a more inclusive and sustainable future. The AYLF serves as the premier partnership-driven leadership training and charity development Foundation that empowers promising young leaders to positively impact their communities and Africa at large. The collegial programs bring together student leaders and young professionals with globally significant leaders and Institutions.
The African Young Leaders Foundation works to prepare the next generation of community, civic, and business leaders in Africa and beyond. Our pillars include but not limited to: Leadership, Character, Service God and Mankind, Entrepreneurship, and Charity. Through our National Branches and a variety of engaging programs, we provide opportunities for leadership and service to anyone.
OUR GOALS
Our goal is to create a platform where young leaders across the Africa would be able to come together to resolve common issues affecting the African Continent through the spirit of PanAfricanism and mutual respect.
We look at all the tenacious problems and we find the common threads then we rally support with the appropriate stakeholders to create meaningful and sustainable change in our communities and for the unborn generations.
We provide valuable opportunities for the youth in Africa by inculcation in them, the spirit of the African values and principles to succeed and to prepare to lead their communities in the future.

OUR OBJECTIVES
Empowerment
AYLF seeks to empower young Africans by providing them with the necessary skills, training, and resources to become agents of positive change in their communities. We believe in the power of youth-led initiatives and encourage entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation among young Africans.
Education
We recognize the transformative power of education and its crucial role in Africa's development. AYLF is committed to promoting quality education and improving access to educational opportunities for all Africans. We strive to enhance the education system, promote digital literacy, and provide scholarships and educational resources to deserving students.
Advocacy
AYLF advocates for youth rights, voices, and inclusion in decision-making processes at all levels. We aim to create platforms for dialogue, collaboration, and engagement between young people, policymakers, and other stakeholders. Through advocacy campaigns, policy research, and partnerships, we work towards creating an enabling policy environment that addresses the unique needs and aspirations of African youth.
Collaboration
We believe in the power of collaboration and recognize that sustainable development requires collective action. AYLF actively seeks partnerships with governments, civil society organizations, international institutions, and the private sector to maximize our impact. By fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and resource mobilization, we strive to create a united front for youth development in Africa.
Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and capacity building among African youth through various platforms, training programs, and events.
Sustainable Development
Contribute to the achievement of the African Union Agenda 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by implementing projects and initiatives that promote sustainable development in key sectors such as education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, gender equality, environmental conservation, and peace building.

Our vision is tailored towards Africa’s transformation where young people are empowered, educated, and actively engaged in shaping their communities and the continent as a whole. AYLF trains and encourage its beneficiaries to use their knowledge and talent to positively impact their communities. We undertake collective and individual leadership programs to help develop informed, visionary global change-makers. We strongly asset that the young leaders today are the pyramid behind Africa’s sustainable development and that their active participation in policies that will affect the unborn general is paramount.
Connect
Having a talent or skill is one thing and having the proper network to utilize it is another. As an umbrella of young leaders and aspiring young leaders, we strive to connect you to the proper network of professionals and Institutions. Therefore, at AYLF, we believe that by amalgamating our varying skills, experiences and networks, we can build the Africa we pray for.

To attain perfection, we also strive to encourage constant transformation. Life is a moving breathing thing. We have to be willing to constantly evolve. AYLF is the perfect young youth-led organization that is committed to undergo every length and breadth of the African Continent to resolve any issues that everyone diminishes. We search and identify possible ways and means to scale-up, and accelerate our targeted group’s impact, to make more of a difference in their communities.
