Emmanuel Maleka

Emmanuel Maleka is a results-driven Pan-African youth leader and health professional with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). He is a mental health fellow and implementation scientist with a focus on Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs).

Emmanuel serves as a food security advocate with Food Plant Solutions, Australia, where he promotes nutrition and hunger eradication through locally adapted gardening and education tools. He is the founder of Maleka Organics - SMC Limited, where he has led the development of grant-winning products including HealCof DS Syrup, Black Beard Cream, and ENVSafe Crop Fertilizer, alongside med-tech innovations such as Accidex and Zuula Casualty.

He also founded the MUST Innovation Hub and YouDo Initiative to expand access to skilling, innovation, and entrepreneurship for youth and women in Uganda. Emmanuel served as Hope Creator Vice President of the Rotaract Club at MUST, contributing to environmental restoration and community philanthropy. His work centers on health innovation, mental health, and translating research into community impact across Africa.
