Daniel
Daniel currently serves as a Policy and Programs Specialist at the African Union Office of the Special Envoy on Youth, where he provides strategic support to the African Union Youth Envoy on her mandate through the development and implementation of Youth development initiatives aligned with the African Youth Charter; and within the scope and aspiration of Agenda 2063.
Daniel is also the Chief Catalyst of Color your Space, a pan-African social action movement dedicated to harnessing the potential of young Africans as agents to promote massive developmental action in Africa.
He previously served as a member of the Youth Ad-hoc Committee of the African Union Commission. Where he provided strategic support on key Youth engagement and development policies on the Continent.
He also played varied roles at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and African Union Commission’s Youth Division providing technical support to their flagship Youth development initiatives. Daniel has been greatly involved in the implementation of regional forums and consultations on African Union Policies and Programs targeting African Youth in key platforms; including the UN General Assembly, Africa Climate Summit and COP. These initiatives have reached thousands of Youth in Africa and the Diaspora.
Daniel’s core mission involves fostering Youth participating in key sectors that enhance their livelihoods and give them a seat at the relevant decision making tables.
Daniel is a graduate from the Ghana Communications Technology University with a BSc in Information Technology. He also possesses a certificate in Youth Development Studies from the Centre for Youth Development Studies in Lusaka, Zambia and a certificate in Climate C.
